Tips For Using the Virtual Home

Using the Virtual Home is fun and easy. Read the following handy tips to get the most from your Virtual Home experience.

  • You may switch between housing styles at any time, but you will lose all color and style choices that you have made up to that point.

  • You might want to work with the home that looks most like your own (more housings styles will be added in the future).

  • Changes to the Virtual Home can be made in any order you choose, and at any point in the process.

  • The color choices for roofing and siding will appear after you have chosen a particular style (ie. XT25, Horizon, Traditional, or Shiplap). Each style has its own set of available colors.

  • Since certain colors are not available for all styles, switching between roofing and siding styles will cause any color choices you have made to revert to a default color (Weathered Wood for Roofing styles, and Colonial White for siding styles).

  • To change the shutter colors, you must first click on WINDOWS. The available shutter colors will then be displayed in the bottom row.

  • You can zoom in for a closer look by right clicking on the house. A menu will appear. Choose the Zoom In option from this menu. The Virtual Home will center on the spot where you right clicked, so it is best to click directly over the area you want to enlarge.

  • When zoomed in, left click and hold down the button then drag your cursor to see other areas up close.

  • To zoom out right click anywhere within the Virtual Home, and select the Show All option.

  • You can start over at any point by clicking on the START OVER button at the bottom of the window.

  • General instructions are available at anytime by clicking on the HELP button in the bottom right corner of the Virtual Home window.

  • We have worked hard to make the styles and colors that are presented on the Virtual Home are as accurate as possible. Unfortunately different screen sizes and monitor settings may affect the way you see them.

  • Please contact us to see our line of quality materials. Our service representatives will gladly bring samples of all available styles and colors.
